OVERVIEW: Dayton Freight more than doubled their current
warehouse space in Kent, Ohio. A 32,000 SF terminal was
added along with an 800 SF office addition. The existing
offices were given a full refresh.
POINTS OF INTEREST: The facility needed to maintain 24
hour operations during all phases of construction. We
coordinated with the GC and management so as not to
interfere with day-to-day operations. During the course of the
project, Dayton Freight decided to build a new 8,900 SF
maintenance building on the same property.
SCOPE: We were the framing and drywall subcontractor. Our
contract also included exterior soffit framing, sheathing,
insulation, suspended ceilings, and some misc. finishes.

project in Canton, Ohio. Our scope also included interior light gauge framing, drywall installation, taping, and drop
ceilings.
115,000 SF warehouse with 14,200 SF of office space. The 38' deck height required the use of extra long wires to
support the suspended ceilings. Fiberglass batt insulation was used above the acoustical ceilings to prevent
warehouse noise from entering the offices.
30,000 SF warehouse attached to a 32,000 SF 2-story office building. Built in a new industrial park, this
headquarters features curved drywall soffits, demising walls, office partition walls, and USG drop ceilings throughout.
