GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Henson Construction
ARCHITECT: DP3 Architects
OVERVIEW: 5,100 SF new building with a 1,300 SF covered
patio. The exterior was mainly built during the winter months.
This made it more of a challenge for our metal stud framers
to keep up with the already accelerated schedule. Our crew
worked diligently with the General Contractor, and the project
was completed on time and on budget.
DESIGN: The building was constructed using a combination
of metal studs, structural steel, and heavy timber framing.
The Prototype 1 design included a number of sloped exterior
features, custom acoustical ceiling colors, and a series of
interior low-walls & platforms to create the seating area.
SCOPE: Exterior metal stud framing, FRT plywood sheathing,
DensGlass Sheathing, interior metal stud framing, drywall
grid, drywall, cement board tile backer, vinyl covered gypsum
ceiling tile, and 15/16" ceiling grid

Canton was the first of 2 Northeast Ohio locations completed by Expert Construction. This 4,700 SF ground-up
building included: load-bearing 16 gauge metal stud walls, plywood sheathing, drywall, tile backer, aluminum ceiling
grid, ACT, and black fiberglass insulation attached to the roof deck for better acoustics.
Expert Construction is the preferred commercial drywall contractor for BW3 restaurants across Northeast Ohio. We've
completed +10 locations which included: new ground-up buildings, full tenant buildouts, and quick interior remodels.
